Sustainable Communities

Jane's first degree is in Geography, a subject which embraces visual and holistic learning through its use of images, diagrams, models and holistic theories to explain the world around us. She has retained an interest in all things geographical, including the concept of developing sustainable communities. Recently she was involved in a community project to regenerate a small market town in North Wiltshire. This project touched on many areas of Jane's expertise; creating Mind Maps of the proposed (449!) projects, facilitating creative thinking sessions to generate solutions and writing a strategic plan that would appeal to a wide audience including regeneration professionals. As part of the project, huge mounted Mind Maps were displayed in the town.
